Appendix A provides examples of the kinds of value added (secondary, tertiary, finished) wood products and wood-based systems that are eligible for Business Development Program funding.
The NAPCS systematically compiles and organizes data relating to the products produced by industries with product classifications based on demand-oriented criteria in order to group products by markets served. Product statistics include a variety of topics, such as the value of outputs, consumption, value of imports and exports, and movement of raw material prices.*
- Wood trusses and engineered wood members
- Reconstituted wood products: waferboard, particle board, medium-density fibreboard, composite flooring, hardboard, cellulosic fibreboard, insulating board
- Veneer and plywood (hardwood, softwood, 2-ply veneers, curved or molded plywood, rough, sanded, interior and exterior)
