The Innovation Support Program (ISP) provides a cost-shared capital investment funding opportunity for Alberta’s value-added wood product manufacturers and lumber producers supplying the value-added sector.

The ISP objectives are to support Alberta companies to scale up, accelerate market access, and build new capacity.

ISP funding ranges from $30,000 to $250,000.

How to apply: self-assess your eligibility, read the program criteria, download the two templates (submission form and budget), and email completed materials to avawpp@gmail.com.

Timeline: Call for proposals opens May 20, 2026 and closes July 31, 2026.
